Book Fair

Over 70 thousand people visited the Book Fair in Kraków this year. This record number shows that reading is faring better in Poland than it would seem. Many attendees came to get autographs from their favourite authors, and Rafał Sonik was among those signing their books.

The Dakar Rally. winner has not yet published a book of his own, but he became the main character in the one written by Agnieszka Gola-Rakowska. The director of the “110%” film wrote down the interviews with athletes, who told her their success stories, and published them in a book of the same title. The result is an extremely valuable piece of work, which might both serve as an inspiration for young athletes and also as the base for analyses, as each chapter of the book is accompanied by comments of sport psychologists.

During the Book Fair at the Burda publishing house stand, the “110%” book was autographed not only by the author, but also by Rafał Sonik. This duo attracted a large number of fans, who also brought their own photographs and souvenirs for him to sign.

Interestingly, Agnieszka Gola-Rakowska and our quad rider promised that this project won’t be their last one…
